Bluebird Cottage

The bluebirds appear to have chosen their house carefully.

There are flowers around every path, pink blossoms overhead and a blue cottage tucked into the old tree as though it has always belonged there. The birds have also claimed the balcony. One assumes they pay rent in songs.

Bluebird Cottage is a romantic hand-painted bluebird wallpaper for kids, combining an enchanted treehouse with flowering gardens, blue hydrangeas and tiny garden details. It is full of colour, yet the painterly finish keeps it soft enough for a child’s bedroom or playroom.

This mural works especially well for children who like gardens, birds and fairy-tale worlds without wanting anything obviously princess-themed.

Styling tip: Pick out the soft blue, rose pink and leafy green with bedding or painted furniture. Vintage-style pieces work beautifully here, though a clean modern bed will stop things becoming too storybook-perfect.
