Painted Terrazzo – Grey

The name “terrazzo” comes from the Latin word “terra”, which means “ground”. This historic composite material lends an artisanal, Mediterranean feel to any interior. A composite material of glass, rocks and marble chippings set into cement, terrazzo originated in 16th-century Italy as a way to reuse stone offcuts.

Baubauwall’s approach on the famous material is … art! Instead of natural glass or marble chips, we added into our mural design drops of paint. Concrete style backdrop of this mural features colourful splashes of watercolour paint in transparent hue. Perfect solution for loft living walls or as a great feature wall mural in your bedroom.
