Painted Terrazzo – White

The name “terrazzo” comes from the Latin word “terra”, which means “ground”. This historic composite material lends an artisanal, Mediterranean feel to any interior. A composite material of glass, rocks and marble chippings set into cement, terrazzo originated in 16th-century Italy as a way to reuse stone offcuts.
Baubauwall’s approach on the famous material is … art! Instead of natural glass or marble chips, we added on our mural design drops of paint. Concrete style backdrop of this mural features colourful splashes of watercolour paint.
